MOTS-c (Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the 12S rRNA Type-c) is a mitochondrial-derived peptide consisting of 16 amino acids. It plays a key role in cellular metabolism and energy homeostasis, acting through pathways related to insulin sensitivity, glucose metabolism, and stress response.
Reconstitution
Add 2mL of bacteriostatic water to get a solution that is 20mg/mL, such that every 0.1mL (10 units on an insulin syringe) is equal to 2mg of MOTS-C. This is high concentration, so 3mL might be needed to get it fully into solution.
Storage
This product must be refrigerated after reconstitution.
