Each vial contains 50mg of highly pure SS-31.
SS-31 (also known as Elamipretide) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (D-Arg-Dmt-Lys-Phe-NH₂) known for its unique mitochondrial-targeting properties. SS-31 selectively binds to cardiolipin within the inner mitochondrial membrane, helping to stabilize mitochondrial structure and improve bioenergetics. Its antioxidant and cell-protective actions have made it a key molecule in mitochondrial and age-related research.
Reconstitution
Add 2mL of bacteriostatic water to get a solution that is 25mg/mL, such that every 0.1mL (10 units on an insulin syringe) is equal to 2.5mg of SS-31.
Storage
This product must be refrigerated after reconstitution.
